Overview
Fraud Defense is a cutting-edge cybersecurity solution designed to protect organizations from email-based fraud. As cybercriminals increasingly exploit email channels for fraudulent activities—such as phishing, business email compromise (BEC), and impersonation—Fraud Defense provides real-time alerts and advanced fraud detection. By integrating with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, Fraud Defense enhances security through advanced detection mechanisms and domain reputation scoring, safeguarding both businesses and customers.
Supported Email Services
Fraud Defense is exclusively supported on the following email platforms:
- Microsoft 365
- Google Workspace
Account Connection Limitations
- Single Account Connection: Each At-Bay Stance account can only be linked to one Microsoft 365 account or one Google Workspace account.
- Multiple account connections (e.g., multiple Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace accounts) are not supported under a single At-Bay Stance account.
User Support and Limits
Self-Onboarding (Up to 10,000 Users)
- For organizations with up to 10,000 users, Fraud Defense allows self-onboarding, enabling businesses to complete the integration process independently and without the need for direct assistance.
For Organizations with More Than 10,000 Users

Permissions for Integration
To enable Fraud Defense with your Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace account, the following administrative permissions must be granted:
For Microsoft 365
The user with full administrative permissions must grant the following permissions:
- Sign in and read user profile
- Read all audit log data
- Read directory data
- Read all Azure AD recommendations
- Read domains
- Read mail in all mailboxes
- Read and write mail in all mailboxes
- Read all user mailbox settings
- Read all usage reports
- Read role management data for all RBAC providers
- Read all security alerts
- Read your organization’s security events
- Read all users’ full profiles
For Google Workspace
The user with full administrative permissions must grant the following permissions:
- View usage reports for your G-Suite domain
- View domains related to your customers
- See info about users on your domain
- Associate you with your personal info on Google
- See your personal info, including any personal info you’ve made publicly available
- See your primary Google Account email address
